Karlien Vernieuwe graduated with distinction as a Master of Law from the University of Antwerp in 2018. During her course, she decided to specialise in public law, taking the electives spatial planning law, environmental law and administrative law, among other things.
Her thesis dealt with legal instruments and a legal-sociological analysis of the policy on housing quality pursued by Flanders and the Brussels-Capital Region.
Karlien Vernieuwe has been with LDR since 1 October 2018, primarily assisting the environmental team in spatial planning law matters.
